What surface preparation is required for viscoelastic tapes?
Unlike traditional coatings that require near-white metal blasting (Sa 2.5), viscoelastic tapes can typically be applied over wire-brushed surfaces (St 2 or St 3 standard). They do not require primers, which helps reduce on-site application times.
