Why is cathodic disbondment resistance a critical metric for 3LPE pipeline repair systems?
Cathodic Protection (CP) systems use electrical currents to protect pipelines from corrosion, but these currents can generate hydrogen gas at coating holidays, which can pull the coating away from the steel surface (cathodic disbondment).
