OEM Viscoelastic Coating System from China Suppliers | Factory Direct Anticorrosion Solutions Supplier, Factories

Introducing our advanced viscoelastic coating system, designed for superior protection and performance. This innovative system is available in two-layer or three-layer configurations, perfect for various applications, The first layer consists of a viscoelastic anticorrosion mastic, expertly engineered to fill gaps and grooves, ensuring a smooth surface finish. This formulation is particularly effective for use on valves and other irregular objects, The second layer features our high-quality viscoelastic tape, which serves as an inner-layer coating. This low-viscosity polyolefin compound tape boasts exceptional self-sealing and anticorrosion properties, allowing for direct application without the need for primer or adhesive, The outer layer is made of a polymeric wrap, further enhancing protection against corrosion and environmental factors, As one of the leading suppliers in China, our factory is dedicated to manufacturing top-tier viscoelastic coating systems that meet the highest industry standards. Trust us to deliver the quality and durability your projects require

Product Description

Construction

  • Inner Wrap Layer Composed of a layer of non-crystalline, low-viscosity, and non-reactive polyolefin-based compound, reinforced with a fabric layer, and the polyolefin-based compound bonds directly to the substrate.
  • Outer Polymeric Tape Layer A two-layer wrapping tape featuring a polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), or polypropylene (PP) backing layer with a laminated butyl-rubber adhesive on one side. The outer-layer tape is compatible with the inner-layer tape and offers robust mechanical protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the composition of the inner wrap in the viscoelastic coating system?
The inner wrap consists of a non-crystalline, low-viscosity, non-reactive polyolefin-based compound reinforced with a fabric layer. This compound bonds directly to the substrate, providing excellent adhesion and corrosion protection.
What materials are used for the outer polymeric tape layer?
The outer layer is a two-layer wrapping tape with a backing made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), or polypropylene (PP), combined with a laminated butyl-rubber adhesive. This provides robust mechanical protection and compatibility with the inner layer.
What is the minimum thickness requirement for the inner layer?
The specification requires a minimum thickness of greater than 1.5mm for the inner layer. Performance testing shows the actual thickness typically achieves 1.98mm, exceeding the minimum requirement.
What temperature range can the viscoelastic coating system withstand?
The system is designed to operate with a glass transition temperature minimum of -20℃ and has been tested for performance at temperatures up to 70℃, making it suitable for various environmental conditions.
How is the coating system tested for defects?
The system undergoes holiday detection testing at 5KV/mm (maximum 25KV) and impact resistance testing at 2J/mm for 10 times. All tests confirm no holidays (defects) are present, ensuring complete coating integrity.
What is the lap shear strength of the inner layer?
At 23℃, the lap shear strength exceeds 0.004N/mm² with actual performance of 0.027N/mm². At elevated temperature (70℃), it maintains strength above 0.002N/mm² with actual performance of 0.00532N/mm², ensuring reliable adhesion under various conditions.
